Infrastructure & Operations FAQ

What is Rudra Green Cycle?

Rudra Green Cycle is a circular agricultural infrastructure initiative integrating food production, dairy farming, renewable energy, and organic fertilizer systems into a unified, climate-positive ecosystem.

What makes the Rudra Green Cycle model unique?

Unlike linear farming, our model integrates multiple sectors—dairy, energy, and soil health—to transform waste from one process into an input for another, creating resource efficiency and multiple value streams.

What products and outputs are generated?

Primary outputs include high-purity dairy products (traditional sweets aka 'La Vie En Ladoo', ghee, paneer). Secondary outputs include renewable biogas/solar energy and nutrient-rich organic fertilizer.

How large will the dairy operation be?

Each hub is designed around a 200+ Buffalo Heritage Herd for pilot stabilization, demonstrating commercial viability before scaling through a multi-hub regional infrastructure.

How does the circular ecosystem work?

It's a closed-loop system: Fodder feeds the dairy; manure feeds the biogas plant; biogas provides renewable energy; and the remaining slurry becomes premium organic fertilizer to regenerate the soil for more fodder.

What are the main value streams?

Value streams are generated through the sale of value-added dairy products and sweets, organic fertilizers, energy offsets from biogas and solar, and potential carbon credits.

What is the role of renewable energy?

Integrated Promethean solar chilling and CSIR-CMERI biogas systems provide clean energy for cooling and processing, ensuring low-carbon, grid-resilient operations.

What is the purpose of the biogas plant?

The CSIR-CMERI powered biogas plant manages livestock waste by capturing methane and converting it into clean utility energy and premium organic fertilizer.

How does the model contribute to sustainability?

By capturing methane through CSIR-CMERI technology and utilizing zero-emission Promethean chilling, each hub offsets 300+ tonnes of CO2e (Projected) per year.

How does Rudra Green Cycle support employment?

Each hub is projected to generate 35–45 direct jobs in farm management, food processing, renewable energy operations, and logistics, fostering rural economic development.

How scalable is the model?

The modular "hub" design is highly scalable. Once the pilot is stabilized, the model can be replicated across diverse agricultural zones in India and beyond.

What are the key investment highlights?

Highlights include diversified value streams, high ESG impact, alignment with government infrastructure subsidies, and first-mover advantage in circular agri-tech.

How does Rudra Green Cycle mitigate risks?

We use biosecurity protocols for livestock, redundant energy systems (solar + biogas + grid), and focus on value-added products to ensure market resilience.
